2028 Eclipse

This is a proposed trip open to expressions of interest. Dates are not accurate or final.

On 22 July 2028 a total eclipse of the sun will be swathing across Australia from Kalumbaru, WA to Sydney, NSW.

Two trips are being advanced at this stage.

One possibility is to gather at Haddon's Corner rather than joining the expected throngs who will descend on Birdsville.

The second option is to join Alan Dash and others from the Victorian Jackaroo Club, who will be participating in the event at Warren, NSW, where the town will be preparing a real show with telescopes and experts on hand.

There is no need for action now on Hadden's Corner, but members wanting to know more about booking for the Warren NSW event can contact Alan Dash (mob 0407 568 700)
