Viewing Cooper Creek in Flood across Birdsville Track Easy

We were hoping the Cooper will get an extra flush down to Lake Eyre this winter from the 2025/2026 wet season.

If so, the newly installed ferry will still be operating, allowing us to proceed further north to Mungeranie and on to the Warburton at Kalamurina, via the Birdsville Track Bypass

Although travel to the campsite will involve dirt tracks, the terrain will be relatively flat, so standard caravans will be able to make it to the uncleared bush camping area (no facilities).
